Cookie policy
Advocatenkantoor Nir Zeltzer - Orechdin BV
This policy explains what is stored on your device when you visit this website, why, and how you keep control of it. It applies to www.orechdin.be and follows Article 129 of the Belgian Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications, the General Data Protection Regulation and the Belgian Data Protection Act of 30 July 2018.
Version 2.0, last updated 06/10/2026
In short
This website uses two small items that are strictly necessary: a record of your cookie choice and a record of your language choice. The only optional item is the Google Maps frame on the contact page, which loads only if you allow it. There are no analytics, no advertising and no social media cookies.
What counts as a cookie
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. The law is broader than the word suggests: it covers any storing or reading of information on your device. Local storage and session storage are therefore covered by the same rules. This website uses neither.
Items placed by orechdin.be itself are first party. Items placed by another company through content we embed are third party, and that company decides what it does with them.
Cookies also differ in how long they last. A session cookie disappears when you close your browser. A persistent cookie stays until it expires or you delete it.
When we ask permission
Storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for does not require consent, and switching it off would break the site. Everything else requires your prior, free and specific permission.
So we ask before placing anything optional, never in advance, and we never treat continued browsing as agreement. Refusing takes one click, exactly like accepting, and has no effect on your access to any part of this website. Your answer is kept for six months, after which we ask again.
Register of what is stored
Everything this website can store on your device, with its purpose, who can read it and how long it lasts.
Strictly necessary
Needed for the website to function: remembering the cookie choice you make here and the language you chose. None of these track you.
No consent required
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| orechdin_consentCookie | orechdin.be | Stores the cookie choice you made, so we do not ask again on every page and can show what you agreed to. | 6 months |
| NEXT_LOCALECookie | orechdin.be | Remembers which language you are reading the site in, so every page stays in that language. | 1 year |
External content
Content embedded from another company at your request. Today this is only the Google Maps frame on the contact page. Allowing it means Google receives your IP address and can place its own cookies.
Only after your consent
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cookies set by GoogleCookie | google.com, maps.google.com | Placed by Google when you choose to load the map on the contact page. Google receives your IP address and uses these cookies for its own purposes, including security and, depending on your Google settings, personalisation. | Determined by Google, see Google policy |
Visitor statistics
Anonymous measurement of how the website is used, so the office can see which pages help people. No such tool runs on this website today. The choice is offered so that none can be added later without your permission.
Only after your consent
Nothing in this category is in use on this website at the moment. If that changes, it will be listed here and will load only after you have allowed it.
Other services
Google Maps is the only external service this website can contact, only on the contact page, and only after you have allowed it. Until then the map is replaced by a placeholder and no request reaches Google. If you never allow it, Google is never told that you visited this site.
What Google does with the data it receives is governed by its own policy: Google privacy policy.
The Call, Email and WhatsApp buttons and the directions link are ordinary links. Nothing is loaded from WhatsApp or Google until you click one, and this website sets no cookie when you do.
Cookies and professional secrecy
As an advocate this firm is bound by professional secrecy under Article 458 of the Criminal Code. None of the items above touch the substance of a case: no cookie on this website records who you are, what you are seeking advice about, or anything you write to us. That duty of confidence is why this site carries no advertising, no social media pixels and no third party analytics.
Your current choice
This is the consent recorded in your browser right now. You can change or withdraw it at any moment, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it.

Withdrawing stops this website from loading external content again and deletes our own consent cookie. It cannot delete cookies another company has already placed in your browser. Those you remove through your browser settings.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Independently of the choice you make here, your browser can block or delete cookies for every site you visit. Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari all have these controls in their settings, in the privacy section. Blocking strictly necessary items may stop parts of this website from working.
Questions and complaints
Questions about this policy go to the office, at info@orechdin.be.
